Our Love Canvas Album Class

It's been a while since I've taught a class... but as you all know, I've been a lytle busy with my new bundle of joy... but now I am back with a new class...

Join me on Saturday, February 27th from 12-4 PM at The Scrapbook Garden and make this beautiful 6x6 canvas mini-album and celebrate {Y}Our Love Through the Years. We will be using the KaiserCraft Sakura Park line along with stamps by Heidi Swapp, Cats Life Press, and Close to my Heart. This kit is loaded with tons of great product from 7 Gypsies, Queen & Co, Around the block, and Zva. You will learn how to use the new iTop Brad Maker by Imaginisce and how to make that gorgeous Tim Holtz Grungepaper Rose.

Please note: This is a canvas album that requires painting ahead of time. So when you register for class, you will receive a Homework Kit that includes the canvas pages and paint. Space is limited so call the store at (714) 841-1801 to reserve your spot... better yet, come in to the store to see the sample in person and pick up your Homework Kit.

Live The Life You've Imagined

I am back from a crazy couple of weeks around here. So most of you know I have been on maternity leave from work and was scheduled to go back after CHA. Well, I went to CHA and had a blast ordering some new and exciting things for Lytle Scrapper and found out the next day that I have been laid off. WAIT! They can't do that! Can they? Oh yes they did... my position is being centralized out of TX.

So after a lot of thinking and discussion with Tuan, we've decided that I am going to "live the life {I've} imagined" as Tim Holtz would say, and pursue Lytle Scrapper full time and try to work with some manufacturers out there. I know this will be long road but it's worth a shot {I can always go back to pharmacy later}. I am so lucky to have such a wonderful, understanding, patient, and supportive husband who believes in me and is encouraging me to pursue this dream. I am very excited but I am also very nervous.

I've always loved this quote from the movie, Akeelah and the Bee..."Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear us that we are powerful beyond measure. We ask ourselves, 'Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and fabulous?' Actually, who are you not to be?"

So what does this mean? In addition to the Lytle Scrapper Style classes you've come to love, I will be working on more technique driven classes, more technique videos and tutorials, more projects added to the project gallery, and possibly more retreats.
