It seems like just yesterday that I was reunited with Melissa and the wonderful Disney Girls when I walked into The Scrapbook Garden for the first time. Here we are... one year later! Congratulations, Melissa and Brian, on your one year anniversary of the opening of The Scrapbook Garden! You have created a wonderful place for all of us to come and enjoy, interact, create, love, laugh, and live. Thank you for all that you do to make the Garden such a beautiful place.
So, on to the festivities! Click here to see a list of the festivities for the weekend. I will be demonstrating make-n-takes using tons of Ranger products all day Saturday and most of the day on Sunday. Stop by and learn how to emboss, ink, and distress with Tim Holtz's Distress Reinkers, Perfect Pearls, and Grungeboard. Here is a picture of what I will be demo-ing...
Did I mention that Alice Carman and Nicole Capote will also be demo-ing a couple of really cute make-n-takes as well? Oh and let's not forget... balloons and birthday cake! It will be tons of fun... goodie bags, discounts, drawings, prizes, and more.
Speaking of drawings, have you signed up for the Lytle Scrapper mailing list or left a comment for your chance to win the prize pack posted below worth $100? It's not too late... the drawing ends July 15th. I will announce a winner of July 16th. Want more chances to win? Refer a friend! Have your friend sign up for the mailing list AND post a comment stating that she was referred by you, and your name will be entered again.
On another note, for all you rubber stampers out there, The Original Rubber Stamp Convention in Carson, is also this weekend. Don't forget to stop by and check-out Stampscapes! Kevin and Susana are bound to have some awesome make-n-takes!
Stay tuned this coming week for a couple of step-by step postings on some really cool techniques including how to make the tag above and how to emboss brass stencils in your Cuttlebug.
Well, I've got quite the weekend ahead of me. Hope to see you sometime this weekend.

I was at the Scrapbook Garden on Saturday and Sunday...it was only my 2nd time in the store...the anniversary sale was FANTASTIC and the make and takes were really GREAT! The crop was really fun on Sunday and the amount of goodies we got was just unbelievable! I didn't get to do your make and take until yesterday...I learned something new...how to emboss (please don't tell anyone I hadn't done it before)...OOPS...I think I just did...anyway, thanks to everyone who helped make the weekend so WONDERFUL!
