Welcome to the Darkside...
I mean the lighter and brighter side! My best friend, Kim has been talking about scrapbooking for a long time. She called me once and said, "Are you sitting down? I think I want to scrapbook!" That was about a year and a half ago. Last Christmas, we talked about resolutions and scrapbooking was one of hers. She suggested that we should get together once a month to scrapbook. I went along with it but by this time, I'm thinking, "Yeah right, Kim!" Well, a couple of weeks ago, she called me when I was at CHA and told me, "You are going to be so proud of me. I spent the last day and a half scrapbooking with my mom and I finished 7 pages. I spent $200 in supplies and I have a cutter and two decorative scissors. I can see why this can be addicting." Oh my dear Kim, if you only knew how many tools I have or how much I have spent on supplies! Well, two and a half weeks later... guess who was scrapbooking with me at SBG yesterday...
She's a speedy scrapper too. She finished 4 pages while she was there and is close to completing her first album. Check her out with one of her layouts she created at the store and all of her new gear...
Kim has definitely been bitten by the bug. She said she could not wait to get home and organize all her new goodies. Aaah, I remember those days! Her boyfriend, Brendon, has "Boys Day" on Sundays, so now she wants to scrapbook every Sunday. She is too funny. I'm so excited to have her share in my passion! Welcome my scrapbooking friend, welcome!
